Collagen Stimulating Injections

Restore volume and tightness to sagging facial skin. If you are concerned that your facial structures aren’t as plump, tight or contoured as they once were, our gold standard collagen stimulating injections may be right for you.

Facial ageing is a multifactorial process that affects multiple facial layers including:

  • Bone loss and remodelling leading to loss of structural support, creating an aged look

  • Facial fat atrophy and redistribution leads to facial hollowing and accumulation in areas such as the jowls

  • Dermal ageing and collagen loss leading to sagging lax skin

Collagen Bio-stimulating injections address the root cause of skin aging. They induce renewal of facial collagen fibres to tone and lift problem facial areas. Over time, these injections provide a significant increase in skin volume and tightness.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are collagen bio-stimulators and how do they work?

Collagen bio-stimulators are injectable treatments designed to address the underlying causes of facial ageing, such as the gradual loss of dermal thickness. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that provide immediate volume, bio-stimulators work by introducing substances into the deeper layers of the skin to encourage the body’s own natural production of collagen fibres. Over time, this process is intended to improve skin structural support and restore a firmer appearance.

2. What can I expect during the clinical procedure?

The procedure involves the administration of the bio-stimulating solution into specific target areas using a fine needle or cannula. To prioritise patient comfort, the process is performed with clinical techniques aimed at minimising sensation. A thorough assessment is conducted beforehand to determine the most appropriate placement for your facial anatomy. Each session typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes.

3. What is the recovery process like for bio-stimulating injections?

Most clients are able to resume their daily activities shortly after the procedure. It is common to experience temporary swelling, redness, or mild bruising at the application sites. Because the solution is often mixed with sterile water, you may notice an initial increase in volume that subsides within 24–48 hours as the water is absorbed, after which the long-term bio-stimulation process begins. Specific aftercare instructions, such as gentle massage of the treated areas, will be provided.

4. How long does it take to see the intended results?

As bio-stimulators rely on your body’s biological response, the results develop gradually rather than instantly. Improvements in skin quality and volume typically become more apparent from six to twelve weeks following the initial treatment. Depending on your clinical goals and skin laxity, a series of two to three sessions may be recommended, with the benefits intended to last significantly longer than traditional temporary fillers.
