UNDERSTANDING COMES FIRST · BY JESSI
A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE
Space to ask questions.
Clarity before decisions.
A profile consultation starts with what you would like to understand about your nose and how it relates to your facial features. Your practitioner considers your concerns alongside your anatomy, health and any previous procedures.
There are limits to what different approaches can address. Assessment may lead to a discussion of suitable options, a referral or a recommendation for no treatment. Risks, limitations, alternatives and costs are explained before any decision.
OUR CLINIC · A SPACE FOR YOUR QUESTIONSWHAT TO EXPECT
Tell us what you would like to understand about your profile. We discuss your expectations and any previous treatment or surgery.
Your practitioner reviews your anatomy and relevant health history, including medications and any concerns that may require another clinician’s input.
Where an option may be appropriate, its limitations, expected effects, risks, alternatives and fees are explained. A consultation does not guarantee treatment.
Take time to weigh the information and ask further questions. Any agreed plan includes preparation, aftercare, contact arrangements and review.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
A personal recommendation.
A decision made with care.
Every procedure has potential risks and limitations. Your practitioner explains those relevant to the option being considered, how your health may affect suitability and what alternatives are available.
Discuss recovery, aftercare, follow-up and any upcoming commitments before proceeding. Ask how to contact the clinic with concerns and which symptoms would need prompt review.
A LITTLE CLARITY
Yes. A consultation can explore your questions about non-surgical approaches. Your practitioner will explain whether any option may be clinically appropriate and its limitations. Some concerns may require a specialist opinion.
Do not assume that a non-surgical approach can reduce the size of your nose. Discuss the specific change you have in mind, what can realistically be addressed and whether another assessment is needed.
Tell your practitioner about breathing difficulties, previous injury or surgery. These may require assessment by your GP or an appropriate specialist before cosmetic options are considered.
Your practitioner explains possible benefits, significant risks, alternatives, costs and aftercare relevant to any option discussed. You can ask questions and take time to consider the information before making a decision.
